"bloggers, on the other hand, just sound off as they please" - these are the words by Leslie Fong, editor-at-large at The Straits Times in response to a question "are bloggers journalists?". He was disagreeing with the suggestion that bloggers can be journalists.
For once, i agree with Leslie, not about bloggers, but STOMPers ! Check out this STOMP entry in which the STOMPer Patrick complains that foreign indian workers spoil the peace in Little India. And read the comment on this entry by another STOMPer royal_pikarat who says as follows :
" I had been born and live in Singapore for 35 yrs .. only been to Little India ONCE .. once is my whole 35 yrs in Singapore .. WHY ... I don''t think I need to spell out." So much for living the Singaporean dream ! btw, what is the Singaporean dream ?
