I came across an article on the 04 August 2007 edition of Weekend Today about a Singapore family who adopted 4 kids from Cambodia. The kids were all victims of human trafficking. After learning about the cruelty, the Singaporean parents opened a charity named The Riverkids Project, which aims to make a difference to the life of these Cambodia kids to make their world a better place. They have a website where you can donate your contribution through PayPal or even buy some of the merchandise that is available there.
They have blogs on blogspot and livejournal too.
